Treasure report....need to be there!

 

OLD business:

 

We had 7 members ride to the ABATE STATE PARTY, a good time was had by all in spite of the high heat. Thanks,   Dixie Thunder   for a very good time.

 

This past weekend Tony, Big Daddy, Simon& my self went to the HOT SPRINGS RALLY,

WOO HOO great time was had by all, camping on the French Broad River, lots of sights to see there and on the trip, weather was warm in the mountains but cool @ night. Excessive heat on the return trip, but we made it there & back no problems. 

 

Tommy has gotten enough money to do the fifty flags, and will start working on them in the following days.

 

NEW business:

 

Jeff Coleman is going to do classes for anyone that want to go to the High Schools and teach motorcycle awareness to the students< Tony has this info if you are interested.

 

UP coming rides:

 

Swamp Fox Chapter has their down biker fund raising the weekend @ SARAH'S in Andrews, if you would like to go ,once again Tony has all the info

 

Several of the members will be meeting @ Irbys this Saturday @ 10:30 am  to do the run in Hartsville, starting @ Mikes Bar, we feel that we should support this run as Mike is one of our sponsors.

 

Slammers is doing a run for the Shriner's Children's hospital, it will be a short run, the Burnout will be one of the stops. for info call Slammers.

 

Simon's SAFETY CORNER:

 

Ride like you are invisible, this past week a car ran a red light and struck one of the trucks in the front tire, causing a very bad crash, if people can not see an 18 WHEELER how are they going to see a motorcycle. Be VERY AWARE of you surroundings, USE your mirrors and WATCH OUT FOR THE OTHER GUY.

Simon won the 50/50 & the HD PLAQUE and gave back the money to the downed biker fund.
